Viburnham House is a victorian house with many of its original features, all rooms have their original fireplaces. The house has been restored to a high standard, with exposed original tiles and floor boards in the public rooms. Both the dining room and guests sitting room are non smoking and comfortably furnished. The sitting room has a TV and video facility for guests use together with many games from scrabble to cluedo! The public rooms have open fires which are lit in busy periods in the winter.
Located in the centre of Sheringham, Viburnham House is within an easy two minute walk of all local amenities, including the railway station with connections through Norwich to the rest of the UK, pubs, restaurants and shops. The sea front is also a two minute walk away with easy access to the beach, cliff top walks and the golf course. Viburnham House is located in the conservation area of the town, and despite its centre location offers a quiet and restful place to stay

Viburnham House

Viburnham House is run by Sally Shorter, who was responsible for renovating the house before opening up for Bed and Breakfast in the summer of 2004. Since then Viburnham House B&B has been awarded 4 stars and in March 2006 a silver award - an indicator of excellence for standards in service, hospitality, food and accommodation. Sally runs the B&B single handed and takes pride in welcoming her guests with a cup of tea and some home baked cake. Sally had an extensive career in the corporate world before returning home to Norfolk and deciding to run her B&B, and she brought her knowledge of staying in hotels to bear when thinking of guests comfort and convenience. Her philosophy is founded on making people welcome and comfortable, and has resulted in many guests returning for more than a single visit.
