- Sheringham is located
on the North Norfolk coast close to unspoilt countryside, an
area rich in wildlife, with wonderful views and pretty historic
towns and villages. Life is lived at a relaxed pace enabling
you to unwind and enjoy your stay.
Sheringham offers a theatre, with productions throughout the
year, museums and galleries. There is something to suit all members
of the family. The beach has been awarded the coveted blue
flag with lifeguards and other facilities for visitors.
Seafood is a local speciality with crab, lobster, mussels and
other shellfish still landed in the town. Many of the towns
pubs and restaurants offer locally landed crab as one of their
daily specials.
There is plenty to see and do whatever your interests. Your choices
include walking in Sheringham Park or Roman Camp and along the
Peddars Way on the coast, or visiting the National trust properties
of Felbrigg and Blickling Hall. Enthusiasts can take the steam
train on the Poppy line to Holt, find rural crafts or enjoy fish
and chips on Cromer Pier before watching the summer End
of Pier Show.
Every season of the year, Norfolk has something to delight the
visitor, offering its own distinctive appeal. Many people return
year after year to continue to enjoy this unspoilt part of England.
